LN #427 – Overtime With Rick Overton

Charming & Alarmingly Funny - Rick Overton!

Charming & Alarmingly Funny – Rick Overton!

Langdon and the Crew are honored and honestly excited to welcome comedy genius (and true gentleman) Rick Overton; he’s been in just about every film and television show ever made, every big comedy stage worth mentioning and now he’s in our hearts as he does some amazing improv, incredible celebrity impressions and helps us save the world with big, big laughs; he also tells of loosing his best friend, our hero Robin Williams; we also get more intimate with Specific Black Guy, Germar, and introduce our new Intern, the very lovely – and very young – Catriona, who’s here from Scotland…we’re really hoping Langdon doesn’t corrupt her too badly; we tackle those cranky Canadians that are stealing American jobs, Weird Al Yankovic and the Duggars; we also explore the alleged re-make of Willow, Tesla coils and the meaning of Cock-timist; plus, Harrison Ford, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ian McKellen and more all make some surprise appearances (thanks to Rick); behind the scenes pics, links and more are all at the website; click the arrow to listen or “Download” to save for later; enjoy, Nation.

LN #194 – Affirmative Action

Ryan Trask and Michael Castro, of NinanticGet ready to sip on some Hot Chocolate because the lovely J. Nichole Brooks (aka Double D) is back in the studio and the men are saluting in more ways than one; she comes with tales of her adventures in Chicago, including directing the new play, “Mr. Rickey Takes a Meeting,” which is impressing Chicago theater goers and reviewers alike; she helps Langdon and the Crew welcome Michael Castro and Ryan Trask from LA’s cerebral rock bank, Niantic, who are blowing up venues all over southern California, including the Roxy and The Viper Room; they talk about the creative processes, “rock life,” and the correct way to fist bump; believe it or not, Scotch and Christ come into the positive discussion, as well how gay & straight band mates are able to get along so well; they’re a pretty amazing duo, and they prove it with a live jam in the studio; Mary from The Raging Peanuts is back, and there’s more dirt on “The Roofie Incident” with Samantha Fox and Langdon’s best friend (who is angry with him for talking about her on the air…ssshhh, don’t tell her)!
