LN #356 – Something’s In Retrograde

Langdon Loves the New Set

Langdon Loves the New Set

Lots of people report having a bad week and the Crew is here to remedy the situation with lots of laughter, personal (embarrassing) stories and the return of Booze & News; we’ve got another “Everyday Objects” quiz, plus a bunch of insanely funny phone calls today; but for Langdon even this might be not enough, because of what happened at his house this week; you have to hear these terrible tales, all ending in an angry letter leaving everyone asking, “Did we just receive our first piece of hate mail?”…decide for yourself, when Rutt orates and the group discusses; David Letterman reacts to the announcement that Stephen Colbert will be his replacement, and there’s already controversy surrounding CBS’s dramatic decision, begging the question, Who do you think should replace David Letterman?…all this, plus Sirachapocalypse, the return of cocaine and KISS and Nirvana finally get some musical justice; there’s also the big, big news of the super party with the Stern Super Fans coming in May and lots of behind the scenes pics at the website; enjoy, Nation!

LN #213 – The Birds and the Bees

The Lovely Sharon Stanley with Langdon and Nic

Spring has sprung and the studio is filled with blooming flowers and buzzing bees, which is another way to say that Langdon and the Crew are especially frisky today; it might also be because of the lovely guest, international singer Sharon Stanley, the primary vocalist for the best big band in history (that’s still performing more than 60 years later) The Glenn Miller Orchestra; she’s a true diva with amazing stories about everybody including some inside info about the historic LA neighborhood Hancock Park, the true story behind The Girl From Ipanema, and Christo’s deadly umbrellas; plus, Michael line dances, Langdon confesses, and Nic has some lovely Easter eggs to share with you!  Check out the website to see extra pics and find a link to Sharon’s page.

See Sharon Live!
